A Prayer

Father, I surrender all that I know how to surrender to You today knowing that You will receive me as You work with me to fulfill the desire of Your heart. You will cause me to grow up in your ways daily as I say “Yes Lord, Here I am. Use Me.” Contemplation is a good thing, when I contemplate on You and what You have revealed by your Spirit to me. I can trust You that as I walk in the ways You are calling for me to walk, You will do the rest. I need not and should not worry about any unlearned part of myself. You are the teacher, the guide Who gently and firmly leads me into the fullness of the righteousness already given to me. Wow! I am so gifted because of you giving me gifts of You and the riches of heaven of which I am only beginning to comprehend. I am learning to rest in You and lean not on my own understanding, but revel in Your understanding, which I catch glimpses of and stand in awe and joy. How Glorious are You, My God. How humbling are Your Ways manifested in me. To be as bold as a Lion and meek and gentle as a Lamb is truly a miracle. So, I rest in You today to watch You move in me and Your world. I keep my eyes peeled and on You and only You knowing You will correct me when I glance away. Eyes on You Lord. I want my eyes on You. I trust in You to deal with My weakness by Your power. I have faith that I will choose You, ultimately choose You, as you reveal the choice to me, moment by moment. Hand in hand we walk. Thank You, Lord. Praise You, Lord.
