When You are Troubled Where Do You Turn for Counsel?

Word for December 30th, 2021

When you are troubled, where do you turn? Whom do you turn to and why do you turn to them? When you are troubled, where do you turn? I want you to really ponder that. Know that every time I ask you a question, it is to cause you to reflect on the question and come to understand yourself more. As you're reflecting, you're opening yourself to Me to speak into you. You must take time to reflect, to step back, to understand yourself and who you are in Me. For when you are troubled, I want you turning to Me, but know also that I dwell within your brothers and sisters. I want you to be looking and seeing who among you have cultivated their new character in Me. Who have done that? For there you will find love and kindness and wisdom and counsel, for they're living more and more from that place within their own life. And I can flow My Presence, My Wisdom, My Counsel through them as well. That's why I call you to gather together, to not forsake the gathering together. I want you gathering together, but actually being together, connecting with one another in the Body of Christ. I have designed you to work together. Learn to do that! Desire to do that! Put other things aside so that you can do that! You are not meant to walk alone on your journey. So when you are troubled, turn to Me and turn to those that I have placed in your life that allow Me to move through them and support one another. Encourage one another. Love one another. Hold each other up. Celebrate together!
