Rest in Me

Word for August 24th, 2024

Rest in Me.  When you find yourself tired, it could very well be because you were busy doing things that you wanted to do or you thought were the right thing to do.  And then you become tired because you are not doing it in my strength.  And yet even when you are doing your ministry as I call you to do it, you still may become tired.  Rest in Me.  Just like My Son rested after being very busy, you too can rest.  But another point I want to make to you today is that when you are doing your ministry, led by Me, you can do it from a place of rest and peace.  And you will have longevity in your ability to continue moving forward in all that I’ve asked you to do.  So rest in Me.  Whether you’ve stepped aside to rest or you're resting as you do your ministry.  For you are doing it in My strength with me.
